Spectrum was ready to branch out with a new line of varietal olive oils and they needed to stand out on the shelf. We used bright, bold colors which helped differentiate Spectrum’s new line from the greens, browns and neutral colors that are typically used in olive oil packaging. About a year later Whole Foods’ 365 brand came out with their own line of olive oils using a strikingly similar color palette. We were flattered.
